How do I wash it?
Very easy! Unplug it, detach the controller, and machine wash cold on gentle — then hang it up to air dry so the fleece stays as soft as day one. No wringing, no tumble dryer: the carbon heating elements are made to handle a wash, not a spin cycle.

Walk to the kitchen, curl up on the couch, wander the house - it heats up wherever you go. The bank tucks right into the robe's pocket, and when it's low you just recharge it like your phone.
We sell the correct power bank for it separately - add it at checkout and you're set. Already have a 20W (or higher) USB-C power bank at home? That'll work too!
And because the power isn't sealed inside the robe, there's no built-in battery to wear out and take the robe with it - the bank is separate, replaceable, and easy to swap.
What size should I order?
You don't need to guess - one size, and it fits nearly everyone. Heated Grump is a generous full-length hooded robe, intentionally roomy so it wraps over whatever you're already wearing and covers you head to toe, feet tucked in and all. Nothing to measure, no size to pick, no getting it wrong.
How long will the heat last?
Up to 3 hours on a full charge with our power bank on high - and longer on the lower heat settings, since they draw less power. When the bank runs low, just recharge it like your phone or swap in a second one and keep going. Using your own 20W USB-C bank? Run time depends on its mAh - the bigger the bank, the longer the warmth.
Is it safe to wear?
Yes! It's built for it. Heated Grump runs entirely on low-voltage power from a USB-C power bank - the same kind of power that charges your phone - so there's no wall current anywhere in the robe. It has overheating protection on the circuit and 6 timer settings, so it manages itself and shuts off on its own. Doze off on the sofa and it's got you. Like any heated garment, we wouldn't recommend sleeping in it all night - it's made for cozy evenings in the chair.
